Vans, The North Face and Timberland will ship out of the new DC.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure class=\"table\"><span style=\"color: #303030;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"shadow\" src=\"http:\/\/us.media.fashionnetwork.com\/m\/08e6\/9537\/f7a6\/6f7d\/9315\/19a3\/0032\/26fc\/6498\/0f65\/650x1019.60\/0f65.jpg\" \/><\/span><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"table\"><figcaption><span style=\"color: #303030;\">The new distribution center will create 175 jobs &#8211; The North Face<\/span><\/figcaption><figcaption><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"color: #303030;\">Steve Rendle, VF\u2019s Chairman, President and CEO cited the growth of the direct-to-consumer business as the driving force behind VF Corporation&#8217;s choice to opening the new DC. Rendle said the location was chosen because it will help VF Corporation &#8220;more quickly service our consumers in the Northeastern U.S.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #303030;\">VF Corporation will begin its lease on a 500,000-square-foot location in July, 2018. The company plans to begin hiring in mid-2018 with a goal of being fully operational by early 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #303030;\">VF Corporation anticipates hiring at least 175 people for full time positions in both the distribution center as well as in an adjacent office location. Jobs available will range from operations, HR, shipping and logistics, maintenance, safety, managerial and clerical roles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #303030;\">VF Corp was originally founded in Pennsylvania.
